Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed all arrangements to be completed for the dignified organization of Geeta Jayanti and the International Geeta Festival in the state. He also emphasised the need for maximum participation in the online Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Knowledge Competition. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav issued the instructions during a meeting with senior officials on Friday at Samatva Bhavan.
An online Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Knowledge Competition is being held in Madhya Pradesh from November 7 to 25, as part of the 70th foundation year celebrations. There will be 70 prizes, including a first prize of ₹1,00,000 and a second prize of ₹51,000. Other prizes include three third prizes of ₹31,000, fifteen laptops, thirty e-bikes, and twenty e-rickshaws. Students aged 11 to 25 achieving outstanding scores will be awarded scholarships for up to two years. Citizens, students, and even inmates will be eligible to participate in the competition, which is being organized in collaboration with educational institutions across the state.
