New Delhi, June 20 (Reporter) IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on Thursday announced the launch of seven executive Master’s programmes designed specifically for working executives. These programmes are tailored to enhance leadership skills, strategic thinking abilities, and business acumen, and will be offered in an online/hybrid mode at the Kolkata and Delhi centres of IIT (ISM). The programmes span over two to three years and are being provided by five departments of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. This initiative includes five Executive Tech Programmes and two MBA Programmes aimed at improving the technical aptitude and expertise of working professionals and academicians in relevant fields. A spokesperson from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad commented, "The aim of all seven Executive Master’s Programmes is to train students in a high level of knowledge, enabling them to tackle real-life problems in the industry and to excel in higher academics through research." The Executive M Tech programmes on offer include a two to three-year programme in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science provided by the Computer Science & Engineering Department and another in Reservoir Engineering from the Petroleum Engineering Department. Additionally, there are three M Tech programmes each of three years' duration, with two offered by the Electrical Engineering Department. These include a programme in Power System Engineering (PSE) and another in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (PEED). The Mechanical Engineering Department is also offering an Executive M Tech programme. In addition to the five Executive M Tech programmes, two MBA programmes are available from the Department of Management Studies and Industrial Engineering. These comprise an Executive MBA Programme and an Executive MBA (Business Analytics) Programme.
