Srinagar, Jan 29 (Reporter) Inspector General of Police Kashmir V K Birdi on Monday flagged off the first batch of 66 students for “Bharat Darshan” tour from Srinagar amid great enthusiasm.
Birdi flagged off the first batch of 66 students alongwith 3 Caretakers for Bharat Darshan tour amidst great enthusiasm and anticipation from District Police Line (DPL) Srinagar.
Police said the tour is organized by Police and all boarding and lodging facilities including to and fro air tickets are being provided by Police.
It is pertinent to mention here that a total of 651 students of Kashmir Zone along with 31 police officers as Care Takers in 10 batches will go for Bharat Darshan Tour by Air.
IGP Kashmir while interacting with the touring students who belong to different parts of district Srinagar said that “Bharat Darshan” tour is primarily aimed at providing opportunity to the youth to understand the togetherness of India and its immense diversity.
He advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of the country and said that it is an effort of J&K police to expose our youth to exciting tourist spots of the country, historical places and other famous workplaces etc.
Birdi also advised the touring students to imbibe in them the greatness of the country and to take full advantage of the opportunity and collect memories for life during the tour, besides wishing them a fun-filled, safe and life changing tour.
Experienced guides and facilitators will accompany the students, providing them with insights into the significance of each destination visited.
The J&K Police, in a bid to foster national integration and cultural exchange, has undertaken a commendable initiative by organizing “Bharat Darshan” tour for students. This initiative aims to provide students with an opportunity to explore the diverse cultural heritage and historical significance of various parts of India...////...
