Chandigarh, Jan 6 (Reporter) Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya on Monday paid homage to the 10th Sikh Guru, Gobind Singh on the auspicious occasion of his Parkash Parv, and highlighted the timeless relevance of his teachings and their importance in fostering harmony, courage and universal brotherhood. He emphasised Govind Singh’s unparalleled contributions to humanity, particularly his ideals of selflessness, equality and service. The Governor urged the citizens to imbibe the teachings in their daily lives for the welfare of society. “Sri Guru Govind Singh Ji’s life stands as a beacon of inspiration for generations. His vision of universal well-being, social justice, and unity remains profoundly relevant in today’s world. Let us all commit to living by his principles and contribute to building a compassionate and harmonious society,” said Dattatraya. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini too extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion and expressed immense pride in the supreme sacrifice made by Guru Gobind Singh' sons to serve society and the religion. The Chief Minister visited Nada Sahib Gurudwara to pay tribute and bowed in reverence before Guru Granth Sahib. He participated in the Akhand Path.
