Haryana: Chautala to be cremated Saturday at native village in Sirsa district

Chandigarh/Sirsa, Dec 22 (Reporter) Former Haryana Chief Minister and INLD supremo OM Prakash Chautala will be cremated with state honours on Saturday at his native village Chautala in Sirsa district. His grandson and Rania MLA Arjun Chautala said that the body will be brought to TejaKheda farmhouse from Gurm, where he breathed his last. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m, his body will be kept at the farm house for people to pay last respects to the departed leader. State government sources said a three-day state mourning will be observed and from today itself to Monday no government entertainment programmes will be organised. Reports from Sirsa said people have already started to gather at the farmhouse. Tomorrow, scores of people including political dignitaries are expected to reach here from across the state as well as adjoining states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and Chandigarh.
