Mumbai, Feb 3 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Monday that the state government will bring a new policy for permanent repair and maintenance of old water conservation projects in the state. He was speaking at signing of memoranda of understanding (MoU) between the Department of Soil & Water Conservation and various related institutions and organisations. Three MoUs have been signed with Naam Foundation, Tata Motors and Bharatiya Jain Association. Water conservation movement has been started through various social organisations to make the state drought free, he noted. The Chief Minister has proposed to complete the old and incomplete water conservation projects on priority basis.
