Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel inaugurates exhibition of rare photographs depicting the glorious journey of the Legislative Assembly

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel on Wednesday inaugurated a photo exhibition titled “Moments from the History of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 1956 to 2025 and the Rise of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav – Two Years of Development and Service in Madhya Pradesh” on the occasion of the special session of the Legislative Assembly.

On this occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Leader of the Opposition Shri Umang Singhar were present.

The Governor inaugurated the exhibition “Moments from the History of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 1956 to 2025” by cutting the ribbon and also released the album of the photo exhibition organised in the Central Hall of the Assembly. He viewed the exhibits and appreciated the historical, rare photo collection and its presentation.

On this occasion, Governor Shri Patel also visited the photo exhibition organised by the Public Relations Department of the Madhya Pradesh Government on the theme “The Rise of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav – Two Years of Development and Service in Madhya Pradesh.”

On the arrival of Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel at the Assembly, Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, and Leader of the Opposition Shri Umang Singhar welcomed him by presenting bouquets. Ministers, MLAs and public representatives were present on the occasion.

It is noteworthy that a special session has been organised to mark 70 years of the first session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. An attractive exhibition of rare photographs depicting the glorious seven-decade journey of the Assembly has been set up in the Central Hall of the Legislative Assembly.

The exhibition showcases 135 rare photographs covering the history of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 1956 to 2025. Similarly, the Public Relations Department has set up an impressive development exhibition comprising 90 panels in the Assembly Parisar.
