Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is working to provide dignity and facilities to all farmers of Madhya Pradesh. He announced that very soon, over 20 lakh farmers will be provided with solar power pumps, freeing them permanently from the problem of electricity bills. CM Dr. Yadav addressed the inauguration and Bhoomi-Pujan ceremony at Rajoudha village in Morena district on Sunday.
The Chief Minister said that farmers in the state are being provided an annual honorarium of Rs. 12,000—Rs. 6,000 each from the Central and State Governments. He further announced that all Ladli Behnas will receive a monthly assistance of Rs. 1,500, starting from Bhai-Dooj after Diwali.
CM Dr. Yadav said, highlighting the government’s efforts in the field of education, that arrangements are being made so every child in the state can study well. Students scoring over 75% in board exams are given laptops, and meritorious students receive scooters. Bicycles and uniforms are also being provided.
