New Delhi, Feb 20 (Reporter) Pankaj Kumar Singh took oath as a Minister in the newly sworn-in BJP government led by Rekha Gupta at the packed and impressively decorated Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on Thursday. For Singh, a dentist by profession, this moment was not just a political milestone but a testament to his journey from a public servant to a lawmaker. Born on November 6, 1977, in Bihar, Singh’s early years were marked by a strong academic focus. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, in 1998. His first stint in governance came when he was elected as a councillor in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). In the recent Delhi Assembly election, Singh contested from the Vikaspuri constituency on a BJP ticket.
