The foundation day of 8 states and 4 union territories, including the Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day was celebrated at Raj Bhavan today. The Foundation Day of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu and the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Lakshadweep and Puducherry was ceremoniously celebrated at the event. At the outset, a short film on the cultural, social, and geographical splendour of Madhya Pradesh was screened.
