Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed serious concern over the recent death of elephants in Umaria district and took an emergency meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence today late evening. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that a high-level team should immediately leave for the incident site to gather information about all aspects of this incident. A detailed report in this connection should be submitted within 24 hours. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that strict action will be taken against those guilty. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is serious about the protection of forests and protection of wild animals.
