Hardoi (UP), Nov 25 (Reporter) Five persons, including four women, were killed and five others were injured when an SUV was hit by a bus in Mallawa police station area of Hardoi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said here. Police sources said that the accident took place near Gauri intersection in Mallawa police station area on Katra Bilhaur highway at around 3:30 am when the SUV carrying people returning from a marriage ceremony collided with a bus coming from the opposite direction. Police sources said that some people from Madhoganj and Mallawa of Hardoi had gone to attend a marriage procession in Chaubepur area of Kanpur on Sunday by car, from where all of them were returning early this morning. Police sources said that the collision was so severe that the car was blown to pieces. "After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and with the help of local people, pulled out the people trapped in the car, but by then Seema Devi (40), Pratima Devi (32), Pratibha (42), Ramlali (50), and the driver Shubham (28) had died. Police sources said that five persons, including Vimla (40), Keshav (12), Shaurya (10), and Ajay (12) were seriously injured in the accident.
