Begusarai, Apr 09 (Reporter) Five people were killed and two injured in separate incidents of lightning under various police stations in Begusarai district of Bihar on Wednesday. Police said here that one Viral Paswan and his wife Jitni Devi were on way to collect fodder when lightning struck them at Bhagatpur village under Balia police station area. Viral died on the spot while Jitni sustained serious burn injuries and she was rushed to a local hospital for treatment where her condition was stated to be critical, police added. A three year old girl Anshu Kumari died on the spot while her sister Anchal Kumar sustained burn injuries in similar circumstances at Manopur village under Bhagwanpur police station area, police said adding that another casualty was reported from Mufassil police station area where Pankaj Mahto was killed in lightning.
