Mumbai, June 4 (Reporter) A fire broke out at the Ghansoli depot of Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) early Wednesday morning, reducing four buses to ashes. The blaze, which started around 7 am, involved three diesel buses and one electric. Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and managed to bring the fire under control. According to Yogesh Kaduskar, general manager of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Transport, one of the diesel buses had been parked at the depot for maintenance since May 28. The fire originated in this bus and quickly spread to three other buses parked nearby, resulting in the total loss of four vehicles.
