Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, congratulating Madhya Pradesh Police along with all participants and associates for organising the ‘Run for Cyber Awareness’ awareness campaign, said that the fight against cybercrime is not only of the police but of the entire society. Technology and law are in their place, but the biggest weapon is awareness. When the citizen becomes aware, then only the nation will be safe. He said that the speed with which we have become digitally strong, new problems and dangers have also started to arise. The same technology which has connected us has also given criminals new weapons, and today new forms of fraud have emerged. Crimes like digital arrest, fake profile, hacking, data breaching, online fraud, OTP fraud, online shopping scams, and fake investment links are increasing. These are affecting every section of our society. ‘Run for Cyber Awareness’ is fulfilling the responsibility of citizen safety in the digital age. Cyber soldiers have united for the race of responsibility, security, and awareness.
