Jammu, Oct 6 (Reporter) In an unprecedented initiative, students from Army Public School, Rakhmuthi on Sunday embarked on an exhilarating journey to the Line of Control, where they gained first-hand experience of military life. Indian Army officials educated the students on own deployment, enemy posts and various surveillance techniques. An official handout said that the thrill-seeking students enjoyed a joy ride in Indian army vehicles, navigating rugged terrain of forward area and also carried out small arms firing at the long range under supervision of Indian Army officials.
