Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that awareness is most effective measure for TB eradication. It is every individual’s responsibility to become part of TB awareness programmes and participate actively in eradication efforts. With Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guiding mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas, the TB Mukt Bharat campaign will be successful. The nation and the state will become TB-free.
Governor Shri Patel was addressing the inaugural function of the 76th TB Seal Campaign organised by Madhya Pradesh TB Association on Monday. On this occasion, he distributed nutritious food to TB patients and honoured Nikshay Mitras, doctors, donors and social service organisations.
Governor Shri Patel urged citizens to help TB patients to the best of their ability and means. He said that true meaning of life lies in serving humanity and helping suffering and needy is a noble act that brings divine blessings. He appreciated the event’s theme, “Yes, We Can End TB,” as an expression of unity and determination towards TB eradication. He congratulated dedicated office-bearers of TB Association, associated departments and social organisations for their continuous efforts in eliminating TB and commended the initiative to make Prime Minister Shri Modi’s TB Mukt Bharat campaign a people’s movement in Madhya Pradesh.
