Jammu, Sep 20 (Reporter) A gunfight broke out between security forces and terrorists on Friday evening in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police said that a team of police and security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Shikari area of Chassana in Reasi district on specific input. "When the joint team approached towards the suspected area, the hiding terrorists fired upon them leading to an encounter," said police. "On the receipt of specific intelligence an operation was launched around 1300 hrs and a contact has been established at the Shikari area of Chassana," said police.
