Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that the government is working with full commitment to ensure the payment of dues to nearly 8,000 workers of JC Mill in Gwalior. The government’s efforts have reached the final stage. He emphasized that, similar to the resolution of dues for workers of Hukumchand Mill in Indore and Vinod Mill in Ujjain, the government aims to ensure the dues of JC Mill workers are cleared at the earliest so they can celebrate Diwali with joy. CM Dr. Yadav shared these remarks during a critical meeting in Gwalior aimed at expediting the payment process. The meeting was attended virtually by Gwalior District In-Charge and Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar was present in person. CM Dr. Yadav said to High Court-appointed Liquidator Shri Vyomesh Seth, via video conferencing, to evaluate the dues based on old and new claims and present the assessment before the High Court promptly. This, he said, would ensure a swift resolution of the pending court case related to JC Mill workers’ payments and enable the disbursement of their dues. He also instructed Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajoura and Principal Secretary for Industries Shri Raghvendra Singh to prioritize actions concerning the workers’ payments.
