Chandigarh, Oct 15 (Reporter) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the schedule for the bypolls to four assembly seats in Punjab -- 10-Dera Baba Nanak, 44-Chabbewal (SC), 84-Gidderbaha, and 103-Barnala. Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin C stated that, as per the schedule, the Notification will be issued on October 18. The last date for filing of nominations is October 25 and the scrutiny of nomination papers will be taken up on October 28. The last date for withdrawal of Candidature is October 30. Sibin nformed that voting will take place on 13 November, and the Counting of votes and announcement of results will be on November 23. The CEO said with the announcement of the by-election, the Model Code of Conduct has come into effect in the districts of Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Sri Muktsar Sahib, and Barnala where these constituencies are located.
