Abu Dhabi/New Delhi, Jan 28 (Reporter) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who is visiting the UAE, on Tuesday called on UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and conveyed the warm greetings of PM Narendra Modi. In a post on X, the EAM said the two sides also discussed the continued progress in the bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. “Honoured to call on HH @MohamedBinZayed. Conveyed warm greetings of PM @narendramodi. “Discussed the continued progress in our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Value his guidance for its future growth.” According to a UAE readout: During the meeting, held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, EAM conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his best wishes for continued prosperity for the UAE. In return, the UAE President extended his regards to Prime Minister Modi, wishing India and its people further growth and progress. “The discussions explored various aspects of the bilateral relationship within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Comprehensive Economic Partnership between the UAE and India, as well as opportunities to enhance these ties. They also addressed several regional and international issues of mutual interest." The meeting was attended by Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Abdullah bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; a number of ministers, top officials, and guests. Earlier, during the meeting between Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed, and EAM, the two sides ”discussed the friendship and strategic ties between the two countries, exploring ways to strengthen collaboration across economic, commercial, investment, and cultural sectors. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and EAM also exchanged views on a number of regional and international developments.
