Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that development committees will be formed in all municipal corporations across the state. These committees will include professionals such as doctors, engineers, city planners, professors, lecturers, and teachers, who will collectively contribute to the development of their respective cities. He stated that a provision for forming these development committees has already been included in the current budget. ssDr. Yadav addressing the mayors of the state emphasized that the mayor is the first citizen of the city and should work with full dedication, capacity, and a spirit of service for the welfare of the city and its residents. He stressed the importance of keeping cities at the forefront of development and said that a continuous dialogue on urban development roadmaps will be maintained.On Monday, mayors from 12 cities of the state paid a courtesy visit to Samatva Bhavan, the Chief Minister’s residence, under the leadership of Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, Mayor of Indore and President of the MP Mayors Association. During the meeting, the mayors shared their perspectives and suggestions for urban development.
