Chennai, Mar 22 (Reporter) The proposed delimitation exercise by the BJP-led Government at the Centre was a political assault on southern States, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar observed on Saturday. Speaking at the first Joint Action Committee meeting organised by the Tamil Nadu government to discuss and chalk out the next action plan, he said joining together is the beginning, discussion is the progress, and we will all work together, that will be the success. "The proposed delimitation is not a technical adjustment, it is a political assault on southern states" he said. Telangana Congress President Mahesh Goud said a massive public meeting will be conducted in Hyderabad next month to press for a fair delimitation.
