Srinagar, May 18 (Reporter) A tourist couple from Rajasthan was injured in a militant attack in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday evening. Police said the attack took place at Yannar, Pahalgam in Anantnag. The injured couple was identified as Farha and Tabrez, residents of Jaipur. In a post on X (formerely Twitter), police termed it a terror attack. “Terrorist fired upon and injured a lady Farha, resident of Jaipur, and spouse Tabrez at Yannar, Anantnag. Injured were evacuated to hospital for treatment,” Kashmir Police Zone posted on X. It further said the area has been cordoned off.
