Karimnagar, May 31 (Reporter) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar lashed out at the Congress party, accusing it of staging a political drama titled ‘Char Patta’ with BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the lead role under the so-called banner of "Kalvakuntla Arts". He said the Congress is using such theatrics to divert public attention from its failure to fulfill the promised six guarantees, which he claimed have deeply angered the people of Telangana. Speaking to the media during his tour of Karimnagar district, where he inaugurated various development works, Bandi Sanjay said that these political distractions will yield no benefit to the public. “Congress has mastered the art of misdirection, but people are seeing through the façade. The six guarantees remain unfulfilled, and the people will not forgive such betrayal,” he said. He also hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for increasing the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for 14 Kharif crops, claiming it is in line with the BJP's promise to double farmers' income. He noted a significant increase in the MSP for paddy, which has risen from Rs 1,310 during the UPA regime to Rs 2,389 now—an 81 per cent hike. “Despite soaring fertiliser prices globally, the Modi government is providing subsidised urea, saving farmers Rs18,000 to Rs 20,000 per acre. The Centre is also ensuring procurement of the entire paddy crop and has spent over Rs 2.29 lakh crore on it over the past decade,” he added. Bandi Sanjay sharply criticised the Telangana Congress government for failing to support farmers during the Yasangi paddy season. He accused the state administration of harassing farmers at procurement centres and failing to provide promised bonuses. He also condemned the handling of the recent death of 18 cows at the Vemulawada Rajanna temple and demanded better facilities for cattle care. “It is the government's duty to protect these sacred animals and ensure the comfort of increasing numbers of devotees,” he stated. Turning his focus to national politics, Bandi Sanjay slammed Congress leader Revanth Reddy’s recent remarks as “treasonous” and disrespectful to the Indian Army. He defended the use of Rafale jets and criticised the Congress party for its past actions on Kashmir, including dual constitutions and flags. Responding to reports of an alleged meeting between BJP leader Etala Rajender and BRS leader Harish Rao, Bandi Sanjay dismissed it as another Congress-directed drama, similar to the "Char Patta" narrative. “Congress is producing and directing these political theatrics to mask its failures and divert attention from its broken promises,” he alleged. He reiterated that there would be no alliance between BJP and BRS, branding the latter as a corrupt, family-run party. “People have experienced the deceit of both Congress and BRS. This time, they are ready to give the BJP a chance. No matter how many conspiracies are hatched, BJP’s rise to power in Telangana is unstoppable,” he added...////...
