Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that ensuring the health and safety of citizens is the top priority of the state government, and continuous efforts are being made in this direction. He remarked, ‘Indore is not just the land of cleanliness and taste but also of good governance and service’. The Chief Minister stated that Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar taught that the true meaning of governance lies in public welfare, justice and compassion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the inauguration of this modern Food and Drug Testing Laboratory symbolises the continuation of that very tradition of good governance, founded on the principle of ‘People’s taste, People’s health and People’s safety. He emphasised that purity and cleanliness are key to good health. CM Dr. Yadav cautioned that a meal may be delicious, but if it fails the test of purity and hygiene, it can harm health.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the launch of the divisional Food and Drug Testing Laboratory in Indore represents the state government’s strong commitment to public health and safety. He stated, “This is not just a building; it is a major step toward ensuring food quality and health security.” The CM further said, “With the blessings of Maa Annapurna, may this laboratory become a center of taste, safety and nutrition.”
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government has decided to establish new food and drug testing laboratories in Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior to strengthen the state’s drug regulatory system. He added that today’s inauguration marks the realisation of that goal in Indore. The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering in the Lasudiya Mori area of Sanwer constituency in Indore district after inaugurating the newly constructed Food and Drug Testing Laboratory by cutting the ribbon. He said this modern facility is a significant milestone that will enable citizens of the Indore Division to receive timely, high-quality food and drug testing services locally.
