CM Dr. Yadav Makes Surprise Inspection of MG Road Police Station

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of the MG Road Police Station during his visit to Indore on Friday. He reviewed various arrangements at the police station and checked the station registers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also sought information regarding ongoing actions undertaken by the station. Indore Police Commissioner Shri Santosh Kumar Singh briefed him on the innovations being implemented by the police for the convenience of the general public.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the Head Moharrir Room of the police station and reviewed the computerized system for registering FIRs. He interacted with the staff to understand the FIR-filing process. Dr. Yadav also examined the Roznamcha (daily diary). During the inspection conducted at 12 p.m., it was found that the last entry had been made at 11:38 a.m. It was also noted that Constable Rinku Singh had been absent without notice since 8 November. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the Police Commissioner to review the matter and take action as per the rules.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also reviewed the Visitors’ Register. Police Commissioner Shri Santosh Kumar Singh informed that every police station maintains a Visitors’ Register to record public feedback. Citizens visiting the station can enter their feedback in this register. He further explained that a special system has been established to follow up on the feedback provided— a dedicated Feedback Section has been set up in the Police Commissioner’s office, which contacts nearly 5,000 visitors each month by phone to gather follow-up feedback.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was also briefed on the QR-code system introduced by the Police Commissioner’s Office to facilitate public feedback submission. It was explained that any citizen can scan the QR code to share their feedback. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed that improperly parked or seized vehicles lying in a disorganized manner at the stations be disposed of. He directed that every citizen visiting a police station be dealt with sensitivity and that the police work with full efficiency, keeping public convenience and welfare in mind.
