CM Dr. Yadav Appeals for Maximum Participation in Gita Knowledge Competition

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasised the importance of completing all necessary preparations for the dignified organisation of ‘Geeta Jayanti’ and the International Geeta Festival. He instructed relevant department officials to ensure maximum participation in the online Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Knowledge Competition.

As part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of Madhya Pradesh, 70 prizes have been provided for this competition. The first prize will be ₹1,00,000, the second prize will be ₹51,000, and there will be three third prizes of ₹31,000 each. Additional distribution includes fifteen laptops, thirty e-bikes, and twenty e-rickshaws. To encourage outstanding students ages 11 to 25, scholarships for up to two years are also included. Citizens, students, and even inmates in prison can participate. The competition is being organized across the state with the cooperation of educational institutions.

Showcasing Madhya Pradesh's Cuisine and Art at the International Geeta Festival in Kurukshetra

From November 24 to December 1, 2025, the International Geeta Festival in Kurukshetra, Madhya Pradesh, will feature stalls of regional and tribal cuisine. Exhibitions, fairs, and drama festivals will be hosted by the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Folk Art and Language Development Academy. The drama festival will present programs by Puneet Issar and Mohit Shewani (Mumbai) and Shirish Rajpurohit (Ujjain), with tribal dance performances curated by the Tribal Museum.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed further coordination with organizations such as Shrikrishna Pathey Nyas, Maharaja Vikramaditya Research Peeth, Veer Bharat Nyas and a range of educational, cultural, and public relations institutions, including ISKCON, Geeta Pariwar, and Vishva Geeta Pratishthanam. He directed the timely completion of Geeta Bhavans and other related projects at designated locations, and instructed preparations for an innovative programme involving universities, colleges, and school students to mark the conclusion of the Employment and Industry Year 2025.
