Citizens’ Safety is the Top Priority, Successful Mock Drill and Blackout Conducted Across the State: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that ensuring the safety of citizens is the state's foremost priority. He received detailed updates from the Collectors of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore, Gwalior, and Katni regarding the mock drill and blackout exercises conducted on schedule in compliance with the Central Government’s directives.

Dr. Yadav praised the efforts led by the district collectors and said that the mock drills were conducted to enhance emergency preparedness and crisis management capabilities. He emphasised that such exercises are essential not only for disaster response teams but also for raising public awareness and alertness in times of crisis.

On Wednesday evening, the Chief Minister visited the Police Headquarters and received a comprehensive briefing at the Civil Defence Control Room about the emergency mock drills carried out across the state. He was informed that all districts had successfully executed the drills according to the protocol. Senior officers at the headquarters provided a detailed report of the day’s activities and prior preparations.

DGP Shri Kailash Makwana, ACS to the Chief Minister Dr. Rajesh Rajora, ACS (Home) Shri J. N. Kansotia, ADGP Shri A. Sai Manohar, and other senior officials were present during the briefing.
