Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that the ‘Nashe se doori hai zaroori’ campaign is not just a campaign, but a powerful joint effort by society and the police to protect young people from the menace of drug addiction. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav signed the Sankalp Patra (resolution letter) at the Indian Institute of Forest Management as part of a massive public awareness initiative aimed at making Madhya Pradesh a drug-free state.Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the campaign is being spearheaded by the Narcotics Wing of the Police Headquarters and is being conducted across all districts of the state from 15 to 30 July 2025.The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness among adolescents and youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse, prevent them from falling prey to addiction, and provide proper counseling and support to those already affected, guiding them toward rehabilitation and recovery.
