Jammu, Oct 13 (Reporter) The Centre on Sunday officially revoked the president's rule from Jammu and Kashmir allowing the formation of a new government after the recently concluded assembly election. The President's rule was imposed in Jammu and Kashmir after the PDP-BJP alliance government collapsed in June 2018. The Centre on August 5, 2019, revoked Article 370 and bifurcated the erstwhile state in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladakh. Elections in Jammu and Kashmir were held after one decade, with the National Conference winning 42 seats and the BJP 29 (all from Jammu region).
