Lucknow, June 5 (Reporter) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo on Wednesday blamed the Muslim community for the poor performance of her party in the Lok Sabha elections and said that in the future, this community will be given a chance after careful consideration.
In a statement issued here, the BSP supremo said that in this election, the BSP made every effort to get a better result on its own, in which people of her own caste, that is, Dalits, played an important missionary role by giving most of their votes to the BSP.
She said that the Muslim community, which is a special part of BSP, is not able to understand BSP properly despite being given proper representation in the Lok Sabha polls; therefore, in such a situation, they will be given a chance by the party in the elections after a lot of careful consideration so that the party does not suffer a terrible loss in the future like this time.
Mayawati said that during the elections, there was a discussion among the people suffering from inflation, poverty, and unemployment across the country that if the elections were fair and transparent and there was no tampering in the EVMs, then the results would definitely be surprising, contrary to the claims of the ruling party leaders, and when the result of the Lok Sabha polls is in front of the people,.
She said, "The public has to decide about democracy and national interest and what difference these election results will have on their lives and how peaceful, prosperous, and secure their future will be."
The BSP president said that the results that have come out in this election, especially in UP, are in front of the public. She said that her party will take it seriously, analyze it deeply at every level, and take the necessary concrete steps in the interest of the party and the movement.
It may be noted that in the Lok Sabha polls in UP, whose results were announced on Tuesday, the BSP failed to open its account even on the single seat. The party had won 10 seats when it contested general elections in alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP) in 2019...////...
