Boat carrying 13 people explodes in Florida, causing casualties: US Coast Guard

Washington, May 27 (Reporter) A boat with 13 people on board exploded in the US state of Florida, there are casualties, the US Coast Guard reported on Tuesday. "Reportedly, a vessel exploded around 5:45 pm w/ 13 ppl aboard, Mon. near the New River Triangle, Ft. Lauderdale. Multiple injuries reported," the US Coast Guard Southeast said on X. It is noted that the victims were hospitalized, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway. Fort Lauderdale is a resort city near Miami.
