Mumbai, May 30 (Reporter) Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut accused the BJP of politicising 'Operation Sindoor' and taking undue credit for the military operation conducted by Indian soldiers.
Speaking to the media in Mumbai, Raut questioned the delay in arresting the six terrorists involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 civilians were killed.
Raut took a dig at the BJP, alleging that the six terrorists from Pahalgam remain at large, hinting "they might join the BJP".
"Maybe the terrorists have joined the BJP—that’s why they are not being caught. The six terrorists from Pahalgam are not being arrested, perhaps because one day you will receive a press release from the BJP office stating that those six people have joined the party. So, forget everything," Raut said.
BJP leader Ram Kadam hit back at Raut, stating, "This is an absolutely ridiculous statement, and it is an insult to our armed forces...////...
