Mainpuri (UP), Oct 25 (Reporter) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is the most corrupt government in the state till date. In a programme in Karhal of Mainpuri, Akhilesh said that the BJP government has cheated the farmers, youth, traders, everyone. "Mandis have been ruined. The construction of roads is of very poor quality. Contractors and officers are looting the budget together. All the roads that were built in this government have broken down. The roads built in the Samajwadi government are still as strong as before," he said. He said that no one would have ever seen corruption like the BJP government. "Recently, news of theft came from an officer's house. The theft was not in thousands, lakhs but in several crores but it is not being investigated. An audio of a District Magistrate went viral, he was fixing commission," he alleged. The SP chief said that corruption is happening everywhere, starting from the District Magistrate. "Those who used to accuse others of looting and defame them, the same people are looting today," he said. The SP chief said that the BJP is showing the dream of making the state's economy one trillion dollars. "The people will not understand what BJP says. These people do such things that no one can understand. Earlier they used to talk about zero tolerance. Their lies have been exposed. Now they are saying that they will create a one trillion dollar economy. Those who showed the dream of a one trillion dollar economy have increased the electricity bill. Made everything expensive. The common man is troubled by inflation," he said. He said that stray animals are roaming on the roads. "Hundreds of people have died in the state due to attacks by these stray animals. During the last assembly elections, the Prime Minister had promised to solve the problem of stray animals within a week but nothing has happened till date," he said. Akhilesh said that the farmer is surrounded by problems under the BJP government. "He is not getting any facilities. DAP and other fertilisers are not available. Farmers wait in long lines for DAP. There are fights in the lines. A farmer had to commit suicide due to non-availability of DAP in Chitrakoot," he claimed. He said that SP has always worked for the village, poor and farmers. "Only Samajwadi policies can lead to development of villages and farmers' prosperity. Ultimately all governments will have to work on Samajwadi policies. In the Samajwadi government, we worked to build mandis on the sides of roads and expressways. So that farmers and poor get prices and facilities," he said. The SP chief said that Netaji (Mulayam) and Samajwadis have a very old and unbreakable relationship with Karhal. "There will be a historic result in Karhal in the by-election. Tej Pratap Yadav will win with historic votes. In this by-election, the PDA family has resolved that a record of BJP's defeat will be created in Karhal," he said...////...
