Srinagar, July 26 (Reporter) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas with great enthusiasm and reverence across the Kashmir valley on Friday. The Main function was held at the BJP head office at Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, attended by many party workers and leaders to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces of Kargil War, a party statement said. The programme commenced with paying tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation. Senior BJP leaders addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the indomitable spirit of the Indian soldiers. The BJP leaders emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by the soldiers and the need to support the families of the martyrs. They also spoke about the strategic importance of the Kargil victory and how it continues to inspire the nation. The party workers and leaders pledged to uphold the values and integrity of the nation on the occasion. “BJP Kashmir remains committed to honouring the sacrifices of our soldiers and working towards the welfare of their families”, the statement reads and added “the Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration is a testament to the unwavering respect and gratitude that the party holds for the armed forces”.
