Patna, Mar 3 (Reporter) Bihar Green Development Fund is to be created in the state with an initial investment of Rs 25 crore for promoting measures to make environment climate friendly and carbon neutral. Finance Minister Samrat Chaudhary while presenting budget for the fiscal 2023-24 in assembly, announced that Bihar Green Development Fund would be created with initial investment of Rs 25 crores in the state to promote measures, required to be taken to make environment climate friendly. The initial fund of Rs 25 crores would help in attracting more investment from the market, he added. " Green Development Fund will also create job opportunities for youths and their vital role in making environment climate friendly would also be recognised", Minister said adding that the initiative would make Bihar among frontline states of the country in taking steps to make the environment climate friendly.
