Imphal, Mar 4 (Reporter) In all 33 different types of weapons, various ammunition and other miscellaneous items were voluntarily surrendered by the public to officials of Churachandpur, Thoubal, Imphal East, Imphal West, and Bishnupur districts during the past 24 hours. Police said on Tuesday that two militants were also nabbed in Imphal West. Security Forces and Forest Division conducted an illegal poppy destruction operation at the hill ranges of Loikong , Tengnoupal district, and destroyed 20 acre of poppy cultivation in the hill range.
