Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti State-level Programmes to be Held in Jabalpur and Alirajpur on November 15 : CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in his address before the Cabinet meeting at the ministry on Monday, congratulated farmers for benefits received from the model rate under the Bhavantar Yojana and electricity consumers for relief obtained through the Samadhan Yojana. He said that on November 13, funds under the Bhavantar Yojana will be transferred to farmers’ accounts from Dewas. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, state-level programmes will be held on November 15 in Jabalpur and Alirajpur to mark Tribal Pride Day. He said that the Madhya Pradesh delegation will participate in national programme to be held in the presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on November 11 in Kevadia, Gujarat, on the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the surrender of woman Naxalite Sunita, made possible by effective surrender policy adopted by the state government, is a significant success for Madhya Pradesh Police. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Indian women’s cricket team on winning the World Cup 2025 and said that fast bowler Kranthi Gaud from Ghuwara in Chhatarpur district has brought glory to Madhya Pradesh across the country and the world. Cricketer Ms. Kranthi will be honoured at the state-level programme to be held on November 15 in Jabalpur on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the 7th session of 16th Assembly will be held from December 1 to 5, with a total of 4 working days. He also directed that necessary preparations be made for celebrating District Pride Days.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bhavantar Yojana has been implemented to ensure full benefit of minimum support price of soybean produce for state’s food-producing farmers. A total of 9,36,352 farmers have registered in the state. The model rate issued under the Bhavantar Yojana has generated great enthusiasm among farmers, and farmer organisations wish to organise gratitude yatras to express appreciation to the government. The district administration should provide all possible support to farmer organisations in this expression of enthusiasm. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that more than 90 lakh citizens who were unable to pay electricity bills due to various reasons will benefit from the Samadhan Yojana.
