Itanagar, Feb 26 (Reporter) In a landmark move, the Arunachal Pradesh Government has become the first in the North-East to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into governance, revolutionising policy monitoring and project implementation.
The Northeastern state has developed an advanced AI system to analyse Monthly Development Reports (MDRs) submitted by 67 departments, ensuring data-driven decision-making and efficient governance.
Each department submits MDRs detailing progress on key government agendas, including budget implementation, Cabinet decisions, flagship schemes like PM Flagship Schemes and Chief Minister’s initiatives, online services, e-Office operations, and updates on public grievance platforms such as CPGRAMS and CM Jansunwai.
Additionally, the reports cover crucial aspects like government vacancies, legislative updates, and major projects under MDoNER and NEC. These reports are uploaded onto a dedicated portal by the 7th of every month.
The AI system meticulously analyses these MDRs, generating comprehensive analytical reports that are reviewed by the State Chief Secretary during monthly review meetings. By transforming raw data into meaningful insights, this initiative enhances governance efficiency and ensures the timely execution of public welfare initiatives.
A key highlight of this AI-driven system is an interactive dashboard with real-time visualisations, enabling seamless monitoring for government officials. This user-friendly platform not only streamlines policy tracking but also supports smarter decision-making, setting a precedent for AI integration in public administration.
Officials hailed this initiative as a significant step toward modern governance, positioning Arunachal Pradesh as a pioneer in leveraging AI for enhanced transparency, accountability, and effective policy implementation...////...
