Hyderabad, July 31 (Reporter) : Hyderabad-based Ananth Technologies Limited (ATL), a leading name in India’s space sector and a trusted partner of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for over three decades, announced today its proud contribution to the successful launch of the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) satellite. The satellite was launched aboard the GSLV-F16 launch vehicle on Wednesday. ATL delivered a total of nine critical subsystems, manufactured at its world-class private-sector satellite facilities. These included the control system, power system, dual gimbal antenna, mainframe and payload DC-DC converters, and MARK-3 star sensor packages. In a press release, Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri, Chairman & Managing Director of Ananth Technologies, remarked, “We are proud to be major contributor in another landmark mission in India’s space journey. ISRO’s success inspires all of us in the space ecosystem to continue striving for excellence and innovation.” He said, NISAR has been launched onboard GSLV-F16 launch vehicle. ATL is proud to be part of this mission by contributing many critical avionic packages to GSLV F-16 and NISAR and ATL extends its heartiest congratulations to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on successful launch of NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) Satellite. ‘Ananth Technologies was responsible for the assembly, integration, and testing of various subassemblies for the GSLV-F16 mission. The company delivered 14 critical subsystems, including the Interface Unit, Power Modules, Data Acquisition Systems, Electro-mechanical Actuator Systems, Telemetry Transmitters, and Stage Control Electronic Units’, he said. ATL also executed the complete electrical integration of all four L40 decks, encompassing harnessing and functional testing. The electrical harnessing of the GS1 structure covered multiple components, including Housings 1, 2, and 3, the CBS structure, GS1 wire tunnel, IS 1/2M deck, and IS 1/2M structure, he added. Partner with ISRO for over three decades, ATL is contributing cutting-edge solutions in satellite systems, launch vehicle components, and mission-critical technologies and to date, ATL has contributed to the success of 105 satellites and 85 launch vehicles for India’s space programs. The launch of the NISAR satellite marks a pioneering mission, representing a significant collaboration between two leading space agencies—NASA and ISRO. NISAR is a global microwave imaging mission that operates in both L- and S-bands, equipped to capture fully polarimetric and interferometric data. It is designed to generate a vast volume of high-resolution data daily, offering valuable insights for scientists, disaster management teams, policymakers, and environmental researchers. The satellite will be placed in a near-polar orbit at an altitude of approximately 743 km and will complete a full scan of the Earth every 12 days. NISAR satellite underscores ISRO's unwavering dedication to innovation and self-reliance in space technology, positioning India among the elite nations. Headquartered in Hyderabad, ATL operates advanced facilities in Thiruvananthapuram for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of launch vehicle subsystems and satellites. With its dedication to precision engineering, innovation, and reliability, ATL continues to play a vital role in India’s space missions, furthering the nation’s vision for technological excellence and leadership in space exploration...////...
