Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has issued instructions to take strict action in connection with irregularities in recognition of nursing colleges. Principal Secretary Public Health and Medical Education has informed that action has been initiated against the then Chairman and Registrar of the Nursing Council. The recognition of nursing colleges found unsuitable in the CBI investigation has already been canceled by the Public Health and Medical Education Department. Strict action has also been initiated against the members of the teams inspecting colleges. Show cause notices have been issued to a total of 111 inspectors of the department.
