Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the ambitious task of delivering water to every farm through the river-linking campaign is progressing rapidly. It is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that two major multipurpose river-linking projects, Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal, have been initiated. Today, with the Narmada-Kshipra Micro Lift Irrigation Project, Narmada water has reached Tarana. When water reaches dry fields, golden crops will flourish.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Rs 2,489.65 crore Narmada-Kshipra Multipurpose Micro Lift Irrigation Project. The event was also addressed by Ujjain district in-charge and Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment (Independent Charge) Shri Gautam Tetwal, Akhara Parishad’s General Secretary Shri Harigiri Maharaj, and Member of Parliament Shri Anil Firozia. The event saw the presence of Shajapur MLA Shri Arun Bhimavad, Tarana MLA Shri Mahesh Parmar, regional public representatives, and a large number of dignitaries.
During his visit to Tarana, CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated several key infrastructure projects Rs 9.64 crore Indore High-Level Bridge (Water Resources Department), Rs 5.73 crore for Community Health Centers, Rs 5.21 crore for 11 Tap Water Projects, Rs 7.15 crore for new building for a sub-health centre, and Foundation stone for a high school building in Kadri village under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan
