Srinagar, June 29 (Reporter) Five soldiers died after an Army tank met with an accident in Leh close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) last night, sources said on Saturday. They said the incident took place at Mandir Morh in the Daulat Beg Oldie area of Ladakh when an armoured tank was crossing a river as part of an exercise. “There were five soldiers in the tank that got stuck in the water,” sources said, adding that they died in the accident. There has been no official word from the Army on the incident so far. The DBO is the northernmost corner of Ladakh and is the first point of contact in the Galwan Valley, where clashes broke out between the armies of India and China in 2020...////...
