Hoshiarpur (Punjab), June 29 (Reporter) Four people, including two children, died on the spot when their car collided with a truck head-on near Adda Saran here Saturday. DSP Tanda Harjit Singh said there were five passengers, including the driver, in the Innova car, coming from Jammu when it met with the accident near Adda Saran on the Hoshiarpur-Tanda road. A speeding truck coming from the opposite direction hit the car resulting in the death of four that included a 6-year and a 14-year-old, besides two men, including the driver. A woman who was critically injured has been referred to a hospital in Amritsar. The identification was awaited. The truck driver was absconding, the DSP said about the probe underway.
