Maputo, Dec 25 (Reporter) At least 21 people have been killed in Mozambique in 24 hours after the announcement of the final results of the presidential election, the Lusa news agency has reported. Over the last 24 hours, the country's police have recorded a total of 236 acts of serious violence that resulted in the deaths of 21 people, the news agency said, citing Interior Minister Pascoal Ronda. On Monday, the Constitutional Council of Mozambique confirmed the results of the October election, which resulted in the victory of the ruling party FRELIMO's candidate, Daniel Chapo.
