Kiev, Aug 27 (Reporter) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday that he wants to show Kiev's new strategy concerning the conflict with Russia to US President Joe Biden as well as to submit its to the presidential candidates, ex-President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
"I will not give any details, the plan has been drawn up, I think it would be fair if this plan is firstly presented to the president of the United States. The success of this plan depends on him, whether we are given what the plan requires or not, whether we are free to use what is in the plan or not. I think I am going to present the plan to him during a meeting in September, and I think it will be right to submit this plan to Kamala Harris and Trump," Zelenskyy told a press conference.
The plan is aimed at "Ukraine's victory," he added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in June that Russia would cease fire and start talks with Ukraine as soon as Kiev withdrew troops from from the territory of Russia's new regions and abandoned plans to join NATO. On August 12, Putin stated that Russia cannot negotiate with those who indiscriminately target civilians and civilian infrastructure amid the Ukrainian attack on Russia's Kursk Region.
