Youth Cong files FIR against Amit Malviya, Arnab Goswami

New Delhi, May 21 (Reporter) The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) on Wednesday said it has lodged an FIR against BJP leader Amit Malviya and journalist Arnab Goswami under non-bailable sections for allegedly defaming leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and "conspiring" to link the Congress to Turkiye. Youth Congress national spokesperson Varun Pandey said that the FIR was lodged on the instructions of the organisation's in-charge Krishna Allavaru, Youth Congress president Uday Bhanu Chib and legal department national chairman Rupesh Bhadoria. After the registration of the FIR, Chib and Bhadauria alleged malicious attempt to defame the Congress. "This FIR sends a clear message that any attempt to spread fake news against the party or its leadership will be met with a strong legal and political response," he said.
