Gorakhpur, Feb 26 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday remained highly active during the early hours of the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the final bathing day of the ongoing Maha Kumbh.
Like every previous Amrit Snan and bathing festival, CM Yogi began his day early at 4 am to oversee the arrangements. Due to his ongoing visit to Gorakhpur, a control room was set up at the Gorakhnath Temple, where he closely monitored the event, watching live feeds of devotees bathing at the Sangam on TV.
From the control room, he gave real-time instructions to senior officials. Under the guidance of the CM, top officials were on high alert and promptly took charge of the situation.
Earlier, on the occasions of Basant Panchami and Magh Purnima Amrit Snan, Yogi had also held meetings with officials at the war room from early morning, ensuring smooth operations through constant monitoring.
On this significant day of Maha Shivaratri Amrit Snan, which also marks the culmination of Maha Kumbh, he closely assessed the security and arrangements for the event. From the Gorakhnath Temple control room, he monitored live feeds of the snan festival, ensuring everything was proceeding as planned.
He also gave strict instructions to administrative officials to ensure that no devotee faced any inconvenience and that all arrangements were up to the mark. He specifically focused on security measures at all ghats and traffic management, ensuring that the millions of devotees attending the Maha Kumbh could bathe at the Triveni Sangam without any issues.
