New Delhi, Oct 8 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday thanked the people of Haryana for voting teh BJP back to power and said he will not leave any stone unturned to “fulfill their aspirations". The Prime Minister;s remarks came after the BJ scored a hat-trick of wins in Haryana, grabbing 48 of the 90 seats in the state Assembly. In a social media post,Modi said, "I salute the people of Haryana for giving a clear majority to the Bharatiya Janata Party once again. This is the victory of the politics of development and good governance. I assure the people here that we will leave no stone unturned to fulfill their aspirations". "My heartiest congratulations to all my party workers who have worked tirelessly and with full dedication for this great victory. This is the result of which BJP has got this historic victory in Haryana" he wrote The Prime Minister also hailed the BJP performance in Jammu and Kashmir and assured the people to work for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. "I am proud of the BJP’s performance in Jammu and Kashmir. I thank all those who have voted for our Party and placed their trust in us. I assure the people that we will keep working for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. I also appreciate the industrious efforts of our Karyakartas" he wrote. BJP dominated the election in the Jammu region and emerged as the second largest party by securing 29 seats. However the party couldn't open its account in the Kashmir region. Calling the J&K assembly election "special" Modi said, "They were held for the first time after the removal of Articles 370 and 35(A) and witnessed a high turnout, thus showing the people’s belief in democracy" he added. Later addressing the party works at party headquarters, Modi slammed the Congress and alleged that they are trying to weaken the country by spreading anarchy by instigating different sections of the society. "The country saw how they tried to instigate the farmers, but the farmers of Haryana gave Congress a befitting reply, showing that they stand with the country and the BJP" PM Modi said. He also accused the Congress of spreading hatred against Dalits, backward classes and tribals. "Today, when Dalits, backward classes and tribals are reaching top positions, they start getting restless" he said. He further added, "Congress considers power as its birthright but after coming to power, it does not hesitate to put the country and society at stake". Talking about the results in Haryana, Modi said, "what the people of Haryana have done this time is unprecedented" He mentioned that there have been 13 elections in Haryana so far and the people of Haryana changed the government every 5 years...////...
